Mobile & desktop apps

Mobile and desktop apps from one codebase

GBixels builds cross-platform apps, so iOS, Android and desktop share a single codebase instead of three. We handle store listings, signing and release, along with offline support, push notifications and the backend the app talks to.

One codebase that produces native builds for both platforms, so a feature is written once and behaves the same on each.

The same app packaged for desktop when your users work on a computer rather than a phone.

Store release and signing

App Store and Google Play listings, signing certificates, review submissions and the release process for updates afterwards.

Offline-first and sync

Content that works without a connection and syncs progress when the device comes back online, which matters where networks are unreliable.

FAQ

Mobile apps questions, answered.

Anything else? Email us and we will answer it.

What is cross-platform app development?

It means writing one codebase that compiles to native apps for several platforms, rather than building a separate app per platform. It usually costs less and keeps features consistent, because a change is made once instead of two or three times.

Do you publish the app to the stores for us?

Yes. We prepare the listing, icons and screenshots, handle signing, submit for review and deal with anything the reviewers raise. The app is published under your developer account, so you own it.

Can the app work offline?

Yes. We can store content on the device so people can keep using the app without a connection, then sync changes and progress back to the server when it reconnects.
